Suggest Remedies For Cystic Structure In The Uterus During Pregnancy

Question: i am 5 weeks pregnant. the gyn did an internal sonogram. said there is a cystic structure. i plan on terminating the pregnancy via the RU486 pill. I am going for the gyn appointment tomorrow to see what the doctor says as well. I just want another doctor's opinion. thanks.

Thanks for the query to hcm,
At 5 weeks gestation, the gestational sac can be seen easily in the uterus with good decidual reaction. A cystic appearance inside uterus can be the sac itself, and one should actually wait till 8 weeks to allow the foetal heart rate to arrive. One shall be more clearer with the picture by 8 weeks if this is a chemical pregnancy that you have been dealing with. Please send the ultrasound report as attachment for review.

Hello,
If you do not desire pregnancy then you may consider medical abortion in consultation with your gynecologist even today. But if you intend to continue pregnancy then you should wait for at least 3 more weeks to let the heart beat arrive in case of a viable pregnancy.
