Question: I frequently have very physical dreams where I fight people or creatures in my dreams. Often I will punch at the person o. Sometimes I end up lunging in my sleep and will punch the bedside table or fall out of bed.

This is actually a normal experience that a lot of people have. Physical things happening in dreams sometimes translate into physical actions in sleep. It is not dangerous. However, if you are very concerned about it, you could try a benzodiazepine medication such as clonazepam. These have side effects including sedation and memory loss so you'll have to weight the pros and cons with your doctor.
