Brief Answer:
nothing to worry about

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXX

Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
How was your day?

Hope this message finds you in good health.

I have gone through your query in detail and understand your concern.

considering the quantity of current and the time period for which he has had contact with the current, it seems that its a mild form of electric burn.

The bruised purple discoloration that he has got on his shoulder and biceps is expected and will gradually fade away in next 10 days or so.

The pain he is having when he tries to use his arm is because of the sudden muscle strain he has gone through during that period.

Analgesics, anti inflammatory tablets will help. Local heparin gel will help the purple color to fade away fast.

just check if he can move all the joints of the arm, including shoulder, elbow and whether he is able to make a tight fist, compare these with his other arm and see any difference.

if it seems to be weak, get his nerve conduction studies and electromyography done to see if the current has damaged his nerves. give him methycobal tablets for a month to accelerate the healing process.

You should eventually get back to normal in coming few days.Nothing to worry about.

I hope your question has been answered.
