Suggest Preventive Measures To Be Clear Of Dengue, Malaria And Typhoid While Traveling

Question: If I need to travel to countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, would I be more prone to infectious disease such as dengue, malaria, typhoid, gastroenteritis? Would I also be more prone to get these diseases on a recurrence basis if I'm staying in these countries?

I'm residing in Singapore, and I have not reside outside Singapore for more than 6 months in the recent years.

I do not have any of the infectious diseases mentioned in my email. It is more for preventive measures that I need to be aware of.

Your answer suggest that you do not have immunity for the infections mentioned as you have not exposed to them in six months. So you will be at some risks to develop infections. Therefore due precautions for prevention of this disease will be important and helpful in prevention of this infections.

It is not necessary that all infection will recur, But proper treatment management and preventive measures are going to be important to keep infection and recurrence at bay.
