Well both the mentioned drugs ( Naltrexone, Topiramate, ) can be used for Alcohol Dr addiction. Another medicine called Acamprosate is also widely used .
But neither of any of these medicine will work if used alone. They have to be used along with psychological counseling or in conjunction with support from social groups that helps in alcohol Dr addiction.
All the 3 are equally effective but my personal choice is Acamprosate.

It requires testing for your liver and kidney before initiating the treatment and as said earlier it needs to be started in conjunction with psychiatric counseling.
