Brief Answer:
Balanced & Healthy Diet.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mr. XXXXXXX

First of all congrats to you and your wife.
Thanks for asking such a beautiful question to us.

It would have been better if you could have attached your wife's previous medical history and present investigation reports if any.
Any how considering that your wife is perfectly alright as per her age and one month pregnancy, I would like to suggest few tips and suggestion to follow during the pregnancy.

As your wife is only one month pregnant she might be experiencing early morning nausea and vomiting ( morning sickness) increase frequency of micturation etc. So you should not worry because it is a normal phenomenon, happens with every pregnant women due to hormonal change.

1. Let your wife take balanced healthy diet in the form of small frequent diet, fruits , salads, green leafy vegetables, sprouts, juices, plenty of oral fluid.etc.

2. She can go for daily walk, mild comfortable yoga, meditation.

3. After some time she may experience vomiting, and difficulty in eating any thing, that time you can ask her to take dry frequent carbohydrate rich food, like dry glucose, toasts, biscuits, also cashew, pistas etc

4. So the frequency will be 9 to 10 times in small amount, like if she is taking milk then let her take half cup 5 to 6 times a day, not one glass at a time.

5. Try to prepare food at home, avoid outside prepared food as most time even 5-star hotel are contaminated.

6. She should avoid, food like CHAT, PANIPURI, BHAJJI, etc., she most time will feel to eat these food only.

7. Ask her to take an apple daily,( as an apple a day keeps doctors away).

8. She should NOT lift heavy object, or heavy work, ridding bike on bad road, traveling far distance..etc.

9. With all these continue the medication (folic acid, and vitamins) and instruction given by her treating doctor.

Hope these suggestion will help you and your wife to carry out the pregnancy smoothly and hassle free.

Hope I have cleared your doubt.

For further any query you are hearty welcome, feel free to write us again.

Waiting for your response,

Regards,

Thanks.

Thanks doc for such a nice advice.. my wife dob is 20-jan-1983. We got married in may 2010. In past she had two missed abortions due to no heart beat and less growth of the baby. One is nov 2010 and other one in jul 2013. Both the times she was in her second month...this time with the god's grace evrything is fine. She is having symptoms of nausea and morning sickness. She is on following medications: ecosprin, mcbm, progesterone, thyronorm and heparin daily 40mg injections..

No need to worry much.

Detailed Answer:
Hi MR XXXXXXX

Thanks for writing me again.Happy to hear from you.

After going through your detailed history I have full sympathy with you & your wife. May this time GOD make you couple successful By blessing you with baby.

I would like to inform you that whatever medicine your wife is taking, are all OK and fine.Continue the same medicine.

Additional advices are as follows:-

1. Routine urine & hemoglobin check up on monthly basis.

2. Ultrasound for the fetal well being for every 2 monthly once till 24 weeks (till 6 months)of pregnancy.

3. There should not be intercourse till 6 months of pregnancy.

4. I suppose you would have already done HB,TLC, DLD, ESR,BLood grouping & Rh typing, HIV,Hbs Ag, VDRL, TORCH test, And USG abdomen. If any one is left get it done and Do consult with your treating doctor as well.

5. Try to keep your wife stress & tension free.

Answer for your second query is that there is no harm in taking heparin throughout the pregnancy as it does not cross the placenta. It is a blood thinner & required for mother. It is safe during pregnancy. So no need to worry.

Diet plan is as per the above instructions.

Hope I have cleared all of your doubts.

I will be happy to listen from you again. Feel free to ask any type of query if any.

Wish you and your wife good luck.

Regards,

Thanks.
