Question: I was advised to take Zocon kit in one day.after break fast, after lunch and after dinner for only one day for vaginal infection. i forgot to take after lunch dose. should i take after dinner dose?

I feel that you should go for a proper diagnosis before taking combination antibiotic kit. Zocon kit contains Azee (an antibiotic), fluconazole (an antifungal) and ornidazole (to fight anaerobic infections and amoebiasis). It acts on three types of germs - bacteria, fungus, anaerobes and amoeba etc. Thus it tends to alter normal flora significantly. Nowadays it is recommended not to take such combination pills. Better way is to first diagnose the type of infection with a pap smear and then take medicine accordingly. If it is a bacterial infection, an antibiotic can be taken.
Thus I recommend that you go for proper diagnosis and not take combination pills. Nothing will happen if you miss afternoon dose or if you take it next day. It is not even connected to the morning pill in anyway.
