EM XXXXXXX 6 mg is Selegiline patch used commonly in depression. The drug is a MAO inhibitor drug. Dextroamphetamine is a stimulant drug. The drug raises BP and if taken with Selegiline it may precipitate hypertensive crisis which might prove dangerous. So it is better to avoid using these two drugs together.
Selegiline also potentiate the actions of Amphetamines so less than normal doses should be used in patients if needed. Exact dose can't be predicted.

Dear Doctor, it is not possible for me to function-i.e. to leave my AHAD untreated--. I tried an eight month period of gradually reducing the dosage of dextroamphetamine to nothing, under the direction of my psychiatrist. The result was a nonfunctional morass of an inhuman life. So the dextroamphamphatamine is a given. Since you do not recommend EASME, what else is out there that is brand eew that I could take in tandem? As you may be able to tell., I am quite bright, have a Masters degree, attended Vassar College and am not willing to call it quits on my quest to be well. I have had ECT twice--it did not help .

If you are not able to function without amphetamines then in such case you can take the doses lower than your prescribed doses. EM XXXXXXX increases the amphetamines action and lower doses would compensate for it.
Or alternatively other antidepressants can be used. SSRIs can become a good alternative if you haven't tried yet. Fluoxetine is a good SSRI that is good antidepressant drug. Bupropion is other option, the drug will help in ADD symptoms also. You can discuss with your doctor for these drugs.
