so contraceptive pills also can not affect hiv test? right?

can EDIBLE CANNABIS also called as BHANG in XXXXXXX given during shivratris as XXXXXXX - affect hiv tests? it was consumed few years ago(2012/2013 i dont remember exactly)- would that have any effect on my hiv test results? i have taken the tests after 1.5 year of high risk exposure? 2013 NOVEMBER was my high risk exposure and taken a few tests after 1.5 year( may2015) with tridot and 2.7 years(july 2016 and march 2017) after exposure with 4 rth gen ag/ab test and the result was NON-REACTIVE.
Also can contraceptive pills affect hiv test results?
sir i am not sure what BHANG is- if its cannabis or marijuana- it was offered as a drink(consumed ONCE) in XXXXXXX during holi and XXXXXXX ratri- i want to know if that can affect my HIV TEST RESULTS.I am freaking out again.please help this is what i found in the interner about bhang- These are different ways you get high using cannabis plant. Hashish/Charas is when the leaves and/or top part of the cannabis flower is chewed or smoked. Ganja/Marijuana is mostly dried leaves used to smoke or even ingested directly. Bhang is when cannbies leaves are ground up and mixed in a sort of a brew with milk.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THAT HAS ANY EFFECT ON MY TEST RESULTS.????

Brief Answer:
No drug can cause delayed seroconversion beyond 6 months

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome once again.
No drug can cause a delay in HIV Sero-conversion 6 months after the exposure including Contraceptives.
Cannabis is known to cause immune suppression. Cannabis taken as XXXXXXX once could not cause immune suppression. This immune suppression is possible with individual addicted to canabis for years together.
But you had your HIV tests 1.5 years, and 2.7 years after the exposure and they came as nonreactive.
Nothing can cause delayed sero-conversion including Adaptogens 6 months after the exposure.
So there is no doubt that you are free from HIV.

Can cannabis taken as a drink as BHANG ( 1 glass ) cause IMMUNESUPRESSION?
How long can cannabis delay the seroconversion ? Can it take more than 6 months in cannabis addicts ? As far as I remember it was a glass of bhang probably mixed with milk or something so that is freaking me out now. Do I have to get tested again because of this ?

1.Sir do I have to re test because of this BHANG (cannabis)situation ?
2. BHANG situation was in MARCH 2012 -1 glass during holi ONCE and my exposure was in NOV 2013, non- reactive hiv test was in MAY 2015,JULY 2016 and MARCH 2017. Recent testing is in 2017 almost 5 years after bhang consumption. Can I believe my non reactive test results and move on with my life? I am trying to have babies so I just want to be sure that I am hiv free
3. Is 6 MONTHS THE MAXIMUM WINDOW PERIOD EVEN FOR CANNABIS ADDICTS ? Or there is no way of testing for canabis addicts? Please clear my doubts sir. I am unable to concentrate on my daily activities because of this. I am trying to calm myself down but seems impossible. Please help by answering in detail. Thank you

Brief Answer:
You are almost free from HIV infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Only chronic canabis user will be likely to have immunosuppresion, not who consumed a glass of diluted Bhang.
I already told that nothing can delay sero conversion beyond 6 months including canabis addiction. If the tests were negative 6 months after the exposure there is no chance for HIV unless there was a fresh exposure. Moreover 4th generation test also comprises of antigen detection, this part of the test would not be affected by any drugs and immunosuppression in detecting an infection.
You can have babies without any hesitation.
If you are still unable to concentrate in your activities, better consult a psychiatrist for further help.

sir you said in 4 rth gen ag/ab test,"4th generation test also comprises of antigen detection, this part of the test would not be affected by any drugs and immunosuppression in detecting an infection."my question is-
Is this antigen part of the test only confined to hiv-1 or is it for hiv-2 as well?
doctor

Brief Answer:
Antigen part of 4th generation HIV test can detect HIV 1 infection only.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Antigen part of the test can detect only HIV 1 infection and not HIV 2 infection.
HIV 1 infection is common throughout the world except certain parts of XXXXXXX up to the extent of 99.5%.

Brief Answer:
You are free from HIV and major STDs

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome once again.
You had almost rued out all the STD and HIV. If you can rule out genital warts either by local examination of your genitals by a physician and also with test like VIA, VILI or if there is a blood test available for the same. It is just for the completion sake.

Sir I forgot to mention - for HPV I got tested with Pap smear and everything is normal. Do I still have to get a via/vili test or a blood test? I request you to elaborate more on these tests as to which blood test you suggest for genital warts. So far I don't have any lesions or anything suscpicious. Do I have to still go and get a visual examination done ?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Sankaranantham Murugan (10 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Blood test for warts are not available

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
PAP smear is only to pick up changes in the cervical epithelium and to detect early cancers. VIA and VILI can detect early warts. But most of the doctors don't know the procedure. Blood test for warts are not available.
