Please see details below

Detailed Answer:
Dear Mr. XXXX,

I went through your query and from what you have mentioned, it seems you have become dependent on clonazepam. This is why you become anxious and tensed in its absence which can be attributed to withdrawal symptoms.

Clonzepam is available in XXXXXXX The reason you are not getting it because it is a prescription medicine. You need a written prescription from a doctor for the same. In your case, I would suggest that you should consult a psychiatrist so that you can be treated for the dependence on clonazepam as well as for underlying anxiety disorder.

Medications like paroxetine would help in controlling your anxiety. In addition. clonazepam can be replaced with another longer acting benzodiazepine like chlordiazepoxide which can be then gradually tapered off, so that you won't have any withdrawal symptoms.

I do hope that I was able to answer your query. Please let me know if you have any further queries. I will be glad to help.

Best wishes,

Dr. Sunil Gupta

Brief Answer:
Different brand will help

Detailed Answer:
Dear Mr. XXXX,

Thanks for following up. Different brands of the same drug may differ in bioavailability, which means that the total effective amount reaching your body differs with some brands. This may specially happen with some locally produced medicines with poor quality control.

You can take clonazepam of some other manufacturing company (Lonazep or Rivotril, etc.). It will hopefully ensure that you don't have the symptoms you experience otherwise.

I do hope that answers your query. Please let me know if I can be of further help.

Best wishes,

Dr. Sunil Gupta
