Based on the facts that you have posted it seems that you have been diagnosed to have urgency for urination due to Over Active Bladder (OAB)
The best alternative to Merbetriq is Darifenacin or Solifenacin to be taken once daily.These are anti muscuranic drug which control involuntary contraction of bladder muscles and help to get relief from urgency for urination .However it has side effects like constipation ,dryness of mouth etc .
