default
Posted on Wed, 26 Aug 2015
Question: we got intimate on 22nd July(fully clothed)..i rubbed her bare vulva with midfinger tip(unnoticeable amount of dry precum, just adjusted the shaft of my penis by inserting hand through my underwear and hence may have got unnoticeable amount of precum(more like spot of precum, that i have on my fingers) fingers by inserting hand through her underwear, didnt finger..i didnt insert finger inside her vagina nor we did penetrative intercourse, never touched vagina vulva with penis. This happened on 38th day of cycle.3 days later ie 25th July she got her period with light flow for 1st day,2nd and 3 rd day with medium flow and finally went away on 28th July(25-28 July),blood clots were seen(she had irregular cycle, she had PCOD,she was under medications few months back, after that her cycle length was 34-37,bt she had period every time after taking medications, stopped medications).on 31st July(3days after her period ended) she said a little bit of rusty brown discharge on her underwear just once..she said she had this sometimes in earlier cycles too(may be old blood of period due to reduced flow during period)..on the 26th July she tested for preganews test and it came negative..on 29th July, she tested negative urine test again.on 3rd August she got negative,on 7th August she got negative urine test result.last month period was from 15th XXXXXXX to 18th June(normal period flow),,11th May to 14th may(medium flow period like this period,light-medium-light)..she has irregular flows of period bt constant period length of 34-37 days..is she pregnant?plz reply fast doctor..its urgent

Brief Answer:
No chance of pregnancy

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. If there was no intercourse, and the chances of entry of semen in vagina are rare, then chances of pregnancy are extremely low. Moreover, since she had her normal periods after the sexual act, pregnancy is ruled out.
Multiple negative pregnancy tests after the incidence completely rules out pregnancy.
Patient of PCOD can have irregular periods and moreover the occurrence of periods after the sexual act and negative urine pregnancy tests rule out any chance of pregnancy.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Please do get back for further queries.

so mam unless we engage in any sexual activity post 25th July(period date) she wont get pregnant?the occurence of her period ruled out any chance of pregnancy with the 22nd July incident, isn't it mam?..mam why is the reduced flow during period and slight brown discharge once?she had reduced period flow in May too..she was under PCOS medications a few months back..after that she stopped and got regular periods with 34-37 days cycle length with sometimes normal flow and sometime medium flow..so as her period occured there is no chance for pregnancy unless we engage in any sexual activity during post 25th July period cycle..isn't it mam?

Hello Saurav,
Yes, you are right.

sorry mam for bothering u so much..she wl see her doctor for sure..i got too scared thats why i am asking the same question again and again..so she is not pregnant for the 22nd July incident bcz she got her period immaterial of the reduced flow and also the HPT shows negative..kindly assure me this mam plz..mam one question does precum or sperm cause pregnancy by indirect transfer?for example if some precum is in penis, one touches it and touch vulva..does it cause any risk?..mam as per my knowledge precum dies within seconds in hands and there is no chance for pregnancy thorugh air contacted sperm..isn't it mam?plz assure me mam that she is not pregnant with that incident as she got her period 3 days later though with reduced flow which happened with here sometimes in precius cycles too..thanku..:)

Brief Answer:
she is not pregnant

Detailed Answer:
Hello Saurav,
Indirect semen transfer can also cause pregnancy as is done in artificial fertilization technique.
In your case chances of pregnancy IS zero as period occurred soon thereafter plus urine pregnancy test is negative.
Don't worry period amount and duration also varies with stress.
