Posted on Wed, 15 Feb 2017
Question: I had protected sex today but after ejaculation, I got notice that my condom got tear accidently. Her last periods get over(completed) 16th of XXXXXXX this month (means 2 days ago). Now, what should we do? Should she take unwanted 72 now? Her periods always come according to 28 days cycle.
She had also taken i-Pill before 2 months. Will it be safe for her to take Contraceptive Pill again?

Better to take emergency contraceptive pill

Thanks for your reply Doctor.

I gave her Unwanted 72 on next day (did sex on 18th XXXXXXX 2:30pm and gave Unwanted 72 on 19th XXXXXXX 11am).
Today on 21st XXXXXXX at 1:30pm, we did sex again but during sex condom got tear again and i pull out immediately without any ejaculation. And also She Washed her Vagina with Some water immediately and also peed(urinate).

Does she need to take another pill? If yes then will it harm her?

If she does not take any pill now then how many chances are there that she will become pregnant?

Brief Answer:
No need to take another pill

Detailed Answer:
hi dear,
In the scenario, the next unprotected intercourse was within 72 hours of taking unwanted 72, so there is no need of taking another contraceptive pill.
There are almost nil chances of pregnancy due to the effect of the emergency contraceptive pill.
