Question: When sitting I have groin pain mostly on right side but can be both. Pain in the buttock a little . Pain can be in the pelvis when sitting at times as well. Pain can be in the front of the thigh as well. Doctor scheduled xray of hip. I had a gynecological exam in March and all was okay. Should I go back. Concerned its ovarian cancer.

Brief Answer:
Get ultrasound for ovaries and CA 125 done.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.
From your symptoms, it appears that you have problem in the hip joint or in the muscles sorrounding it.
It is unlikely for you to have any gynaecology problem if your examination in March was normal. To relax your mind if you have not done ultrasound scan for ovaries and uterus, please do it.
Get blood test of CA 125 done if you have persistent pelvic pain. I expect both these tests to be normal in your case.
I hope this is helpful.
If you have further concerns I will be happy to answer.
Best wishes,
Dr Ramadevi Wani
