Brief Answer:
HIV 1&2 conclusively ruled out after 12 weeks

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM
Thanks for posting your query.

Fourth generation Combo test has two components
1. 1st part detects the P24 Antigen for HIV 1 which is the commonest organism that cause HIV throughout the world. This part can detect the presence of infection as early as 2 weeks on wards, but becomes more conclusive after 4 weeks.
2. 2nd part of this Combo test detects antibodies against both HIV 1&2 and this part more conclusive after 12 weeks (after window period).
So your test rules out the possibility of both HIV 1&2 beyond any doubt after 12 weeks. But very much reliable.
Regarding the symptoms, Earliest manifestations of HIV can occur only after 4-6 weeks, if there is infection. Anything earlier than that could not be due to HIV. Sore throat, fever swollen glands can occur to anybody with a throat infection.
Nothing to worry.

Brief Answer:
Oral sex carries a low risk for HIV

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back
Oral sex is having only a very low risk for HIV. Vaginal penetrative sex is supposed to be a high risk one. But the risk with vaginal penetrative sex is 5 per 10000 as per CDC, XXXXXXX The same organization is telling that with oral sex HIV risk is low. Then you can imagine. Just relax and nothing to worry much.
I am not able to say that your test is very much conclusive. Test will become conclusive for HIV 1 after 28 days, conclusive for both HIV 1&2 infection.
HIV mostly remains symptom free till 5-7 years even in presence of infection.
