Is Delayed Period Symptom Of Pregnancy?
Question: I just stopped my birth control (Microgynon) at the end of my cycle. My last menstral cycle was on the 23rd of April. My husband and i have had unprotected sex in the last month to try and conceive. My cycle is usually 28-30 day cycle and regular. I have been taking Pregnacare for about a month. I have taken 1 urine pregnancy test daily in the last week and have only received negative results. I have not gotten my period. Could i be pregnant? or is it just my period coming late after the BC.

However, I suggest you to undergo one BLOOD TEST for beta-hCG to confirm pregnancy. It is more RELIABLE in early weeks of pregnancy.
In case of NEGATIVE test, hormonal imbalance (due to BC pill), mental stress or emotional upset, pelvic infection, over weight, irregular diet habit may cause late period. Kindly, consult with your doctor following blood test.
