PCOS diagnosis is confirmed with an LH to FSH ratio in the range of 3:1, which is not present here in your case. DHEAS elevation is present in PCOS but DHEAS elevation alone cannot be used to diagnose PCOS as its elevated in a number of other conditions including Cushings, premature adrenarche, Ectopic ACTH secreting tumor etc. PCOS involves chronic anovulation with resulting infertility that typically presents with irregular vaginal bleeding. Hirsuitism and obesity are also accompanied with variable severity. Please consult your doctor / Gynecologist to workup the raised DHEAS in light of your clinical examination findings.
