Is Benadryl The Right Medicine For Itchy Red Welts On Body?

Question: I have broken out in red welts, it itches bad..i just took benadrly how before it kicks in?
My boyfriend has broken out in red welty itchy hives , he thinks it some sort of bug bites, im nitbso sure, gave him benadrly, if thet doesnt work, what do yiu suggest?

Hi and thanks for the query,

I think Benadryl is appropriate. I would however add that it would be nice if he could wash all his dresses and bed linings and get them ironed without repeating same dresses until symptoms fade out.

In case symptoms persist for up to a week or more, it would be advisable to see a doctor for a proper reevaluation.
