Hello
Welcome to Health Magic

Gutka contains tobacco as its main ingredient. Tobacco contains a lot of alkaloids and nicotine is one of them. Nicotine is a highly addictive substance. To quit gutka first of all motivation to quit is must.
As you are motivated to quit tobacco so the process will be easy.
When gutka intake is stopped restlessness, agitation, craving for gutka, tremors, poor concentration may occur. To prevent this we have to replace deficient amounts of nicotine. A lot of gums containing nicotine are available, you can take them for some time and then gradual tapering of gum can be done easily.
To reduce craving you can take Bupropion. Bupropion reduces craving of nicotine and will help to maintain the abstinence. Just 75 mg dose will be sufficient. For proper detox visit a good psychiatrist.
Relaxation exercises especially progressive muscle relaxation will help to maintain motivation.

Hope I cleared your doubt, if you have more questions you can ask again.

Thanks

Hello

That's good that you want to quit.
Start with Nicorex gum twice a day and if you have restlessness in between doses then you can take it with SOS basis.
If you feel restlessness even with nicotine supplement then take Bupropion 150 per day. But before starting visit a psychiatrist for pre evaluation.

Continue with this prescription for 4 weeks then start taking half dose for next 2 weeks and ultimately stop medicine over 6-8 weeks.

Thanks
