Brief Answer: Cannot be determined with this condition! Detailed Answer: Hi and thank you so much for this query. I am so sorry to hear about this dysfunctional uterine bleeding. With an irregular menstrual cycle, the dates for ovulation and next menses cannot be determined. You need a regular cycle for us to be able to determine these dates. Seen this irregularity, it would be very important that you always protect yourself each time you have sexual intercourse. This is because you have no idea when you are on your fertile days. Also, always try to have a sanitary pad with you just in case you have to address any vagina bleeding that should come your way. Should this dysfunctional uterine bleeding continue, I will suggest that you get on birth control pills for 3months to try and impose a rhythm to the menstrual cycle. This will have the double advantage of addressing the condition as well as protecting you from any unwanted pregnancies. It would also permit you to have an idea when the next menses would be due. For this, talk with your OBGYN. In all, these dates cannot be figured out. Should need be, try using contraceptive pills to treat this condition. Be prepared for possible vaginal bleeding each time in order not to be embarrassed in the public. Whenever in doubts, please protect yourself. Always protect yourself during intercourse for disease and pregnancy prevention. I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarification if need be. Dr. Ditah, MD.
