How Long Should I Take Pills To Postpone Periods?
Question: Hi . My period is due on the 21st august when i am meeting my boyfriend again as he works away. I don't want to have my period then and my doctor gave me the pill so i could skip the sugar pills so i wouldn't get my period. My boyfriend is unable to have children so i'm not on the pill for contraceptive reasons. I have been taking it for 4 days now and it makes me feel really nauseous so i want to stop. Can i bring my period forward by stopping the pill now?

No dear it will be too easy to stop the pills as patient should take it for at least 17-18 days for withdrawal of periods so maximum stop it by 12th august otherwise you might land up with erratic bleeding
And when you get your periods take tablet tranexemic acid three times a day from the start of periods and thus will stop bleeding sooner as you desire.
Moreover most of women end and with periods within 2-3 days of stopping the pills and 5 is XXXXXXX time so most likely you will be free soon.
