Brief Answer:
infected implant site, curratage, drainage, medication

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.

As far as the pain and pus discharge is concerned, it is secondary to the infection following implant placement. The other possible cause could be any infection from the neighbor tooth or gums. Nothing to be panic, you can consult your implantologist and get the site cleaned and pus can be drained. Since you have already started with clindamycin, if i am your treating doctor, i would have suggested you to continue the same medication till you get that area cleaned. Do saline gargling. Immediately consult your dentist and get it treated otherwise there are chances of infection spreading to other parts of the oral cavity.

I hope I have answered your query. If you have any queries reply me back. take care.
