Good morning.
Noted the question. Thyroglossal cyst is a remnant of Thyroglossal duct during the development of thyroid gland while in mother's womb. In most people, Thyroglossal duct disappears after full development of the gland. However. If the duct persists, it can present as a swelling or even infection later in life. Could you please post the ultrasound report so that I can look at it. Surgery is required of the swelling is significant or if there is repeated infection.
Let us wait fir the biopsy report.
Laser /cyber knife knife surgery is less recommended for this condition,. However, an experienced surgeon can do endoscopic (key hole) surgery.

I guess my main concern is cancer, the nodule is large 2.2 centimeters and visible. It is located in the front of the lower neck and moves when I swallow or stick my tongue out. It probably is a Tyroidglassal cyst that is congenital that I was barely aware of in the past. I do't know how long it has been swollen, I noticed it by accident on Saturday. Does not hurt, no difficulty in swallowing or breathing. Is it likely to be cancerous?

If Ultrasound shows Cystic without solid component in it, it is very unlikely to harbor any cancer. Besides, your swelling is asymptomatic and is XXXXXXX which may point towards a possible benign lesion.
However if it is a recent onset swelling which is 2cm, needs biopsy and surgery. Pathological examination after the surgery will only can give a definitive diagnosis.
