Hi,

Thanks for the query.

Stress is a silent killer. It can cause lifestyle problems which can harm your sleep, eating habits, body function and also decrease immunity.

Your attached reports are perfectly fine. Your doctor tried to rule out Thyroid problem which can cause depression or anxiety as well. Since the reports are normal as in 2010, it may not be hormonal problem.

Medical drugs can help you if you have symptoms of anxiety / depression. A psychiatrist will be evaluate, analyse and suggest if you need drugs to combat your problems. A proper treatment solution either by medication or counselling can help you cope with stress, provide effective behavior therapy strategies, possibly reduce anxiety / depression and help you to function in society better. Also sleep disorders if any will be taken care of.

I encourage you to consult a competent psychiatrist for the necessary therapy.

In the meantime, avoid fatty, fried, junk food. Avoid smoking and drinking alcohol. You need to eat a diet XXXXXXX in fresh fruits and XXXXXXX leafy vegetables and also protein source like cereals, pulses, chicken, lean meat. Drink plenty of water. Do daily Yoga for stress relief and also daily brisk walking for 40 minutes a day. This exercise will release natural anti-depressants in the body called endorphins which will help you feel much more energetic and better mood as well.

I hope I have answered your query. I will be available to answer your follow up queries.

Hi,

Thanks for writing back.

I have reviewed all your reports and they are normal. Not to worry. Just maintain healthy lifestyle.

Regarding the feeling of depression, it can get worse and then you will find it difficult to function in society. It is not a shame to consult a Psychiatrist. Even people with anxiety and difficult to get sleep do consult Psychiatrists and they benefit best and are more at peace than ever before.

There is no other way to help cure this problem. You can eat food XXXXXXX in Serotonin like bananas which will help keep a good mood. Avoid caffeine, colas, fatty and spicy diet. Do daily exercise which also improves mood. Do daily Yoga which also reduces anxiety.

Whenever you get a negative though, do try one technique. Replace the negative thought immediately with a positive thought. If you feel you day will go bad, immediately replace that negative thought with one that reminds you that you will have a fantastic day. Try to apply this technique and you will feel less stressed through the day.

I would still highly advise that you share your problem with a competent Psychiatrist who will be able to help you best in fighting with this problem and coming out victorious, both with work from your side and support of your Doctor.

Wishing you good health.

Hi

There is no specific exercise to reduce belly fat but you can do exercises to improve toning of the muscles in that area.

Do daily cardio exercise like brisk walking, jogging, running. This reduces weight by increasing overall body metabolism.

You can do abdominal stretching exercises to tone the muscles, best understood from a Gymnasium trainer.

It will take around 2-3 months of diet modification and proper exercise to reduce weight and improve physique the best.

Wishing you good health.
