Question: Hi .. My colleague aged 47 years was suspected with dengue 14 days back ..report is enclosed. .. now he doesn't have fever but his platelets counts are not increasing. he is fine except headache. current platelet count is 86000. can you advise what should be done. he was taking ayurvedic medicine.

There are no proven medications which increase the platelet count. It will naturally increase to normal once the viral particles number come down in the blood.

You can take Tab Caripill twice daily which is papaya leaf extract . This though not through the studies but has shown improvement in platelet count when taken.
