Madam
There are number of factors responsible for greying of hair. These include hereditary, chronic cold, abdominal upset / worms, local reasons as dandruff etc., low immunity, stress, excess of anger, etc. In ayurveda this condition is called palitya and the reason attributed is imbalance of a type of Pitta called bhrajak pit.
Stress free living, balanced diet, and some exercise, help to prevent greying of hair. Add more proteins to diet. Amla is drug of choice, it can be administered in any form. Iron supplements and liver stimulants also help to reverse the imbalance in Bhrajak pit.
As far as diet is concerned Use of almonds with milk early in morning, aamla at breakfast time, vegetable and pulse with raw salad at lunch and dinner with spinach tomato soup and soyabeen will do the needful to make availabe needed nutrients.
Massage and exercise add a lot to increase immunity.
In ayurveda, the recommended procedures in panch karma are shiro dhara and nasya. In shiro dhara oil is poured over fore head and in nasya, nostrils are considered as gate way to scalp, so after proper facial massage you can institute 2/3 drops of seasame oil in each nostril. This is very helpful procedure.
Washing hair with shikakai, reetha and amla kept immersed in water in iron pot overnight is very good.
Your question about application of black seasame paste on scalp, yes you can apply but better options are there as mentioned above.
Use of lemon juice as conditioner is good but it has to be diluted and rinsed after some time. Mixed with coffee may XXXXXXX for some time. XXXXXXX plant if not available you can purchase dried XXXXXXX laves from pansari shops.
Bhringraj is another coloring agent that imparts natural color to hair.
In all this discussion my advice is that you should have balanced diet that contains vitamins minerals proteins fats carbohydrates. In nutshell I have mentioned it above, XXXXXXX breathing and exercise is a must, use of antioxidants as amla, shilajeet turmeric is good, local application of above mentioned wash is helpful, nasya be done for about 15 days, stressfree cheerful living is a must, dewormin yourself and occassionally take course of iron or liver stimulany as arogya vardhini vati, XXXXXXX mandur etc. Use of trifla is also good.
I hope I have replied your queries. Please feel free to clear your doubts on the matter.

Hello doctor,

Thank you very much for the quick reply. I very do agree that there are number of factors responsible for grey hair at early age which include ( hereditary, chronic cold, abdominal upset / worms, local reasons as dandruff etc., low immunity, stress, excess of anger ). Among these i believe i have low immunity and little stress becoz of daily busy housework. I do not have hereditary, dandruff etc.

I am definitely going to follow the diet whatever you mentioned good for healthy hair. Meanwhile till I recover all my little visible grey hair to my natural black I really wanted to cover up those few grey hair with a natural product. Which i believe is only XXXXXXX plant leaves. Nowadays it has become very difficult to rely on XXXXXXX powder sold in market. Coz i started getting grey hair only after applying different brand XXXXXXX powder.

Well doctor you have mentioned a pansari shop where i can get dry leaves of XXXXXXX Could you kindly write one address of pansari shop in Bangalore where i can avail these dry leaves doctor.

Second thing you have mentioned bhringraj as a natural coloring agent. Can I avail the same in pansari shop.

About coffee i did not understand what you said. Is coffee safe to add with XXXXXXX mix to apply on scalp or should i stop coffee. I will try my best to follow panchkarma.

Lastly, i have read an ayurveda concept that through some home remedies/ayur remedies people can restore grey hair back to their natural color. Is this possible doctor.

Thanks
Regards XXXXXXX

Dear XXXXXXX,
The shops selling herbs in raw form are regarded as pansari shops. I am not aware of any address around you. Fatehpuri in Delhi is the main market in India supplying herbs.
Bhringraj will also be available from the shop selling raw herbs. Bhringraj grows commonly as a weed, a herbalist or ayurvedic practitioner can guide if it is there in near vicinity.
Use of coffee as a tanning agent though in use is not much recommended in our texts. In fact, excessive intake of coffee internally in some cases is reported to be responsible for hair fall.
Regarding restoration of natural colour of hair, it is still a debatable question. With regaining of proper immunity, some instances are quoted when hair again became black but this cannot be generalized.
Hope with desired change in life style you get jet-black long and silky hair.
Wish you best of health.
