hello
As you have hair loss associated with itching , it indicates you may have Fungal infection of scalp which also causes hair loss.
but you didnt mention the pattern of hair loss.
It may be androgenic which has uniform pattern
Family history is also important , if you have such history it may be Genetic.
It needs evaluation of the cause of the hair loss , than treatment can be planned
so i will advise you to consult a Medical specialist
ok
take care

Hi
The major causes of hairfall are hormonal, nutritional deficiencies and complication to other diseases and medications.
It is normal to lose some quantity of hairs each day having head bath. Shampooing every day can have some drying effect on your hair
Itching indicates that you may have Fungal infection of scalp which causes hair loss.
Depending on your hair type , the problem will happening. If your scalp is oily, shampoo daily with mild moisturizing shampoo. If your hair is dry , shampoo daily will cause hair breakage , pulling or stretching the hair when wet will break the hair.
General Advice:
A high protein and an iron rich diet is recommended
An adequate intake of raw vegetables , fresh fruits, green leafy vegetables should be included in the diet on a regular basis.
Maintain a regular bowel movement everyday.
Ayurveda Treatment:
Use a natural shampoo to clean the hair. AMLA [ embilica officinalis ] and SHIKAKAI [ acacia concinna] are very good for washing the hair.
Use coconut oil three times in a week.
Medicated oil like NEELIBRINGADI OIL is very useful. Put oil on the scalp and massage gently in the roots of the hair.
Better to wash hair two or three times in a week.

1. family history of baldness?
2. as hair loss is not due to underlying disorder, seek an opinion of Trichologist regarding the same, who might go for hormonal profile as well.
3. in the mean time you can use 'karanj-karpur' oil for local application, and avoid extremes of temperature and pollutants.
