Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Regarding the pain you're experiencing in your ribs on left side I think this is most likely a musculoskeletal issue. The most common cause of this type of pain is a minor bruise of the rib. This could occur with even minor trauma what you might not remember in the recent past. The pain generally will slowly improve over a period of about two weeks.

Another possibility could be inflammation. Sometimes areas around the ribs can become inflamed which contributes to a mild degree of pain. This also generally resolves within a couple weeks. Sometimes we give medication such as ibuprofen to address the inflammatory process. If you're interested you could try taking two tablets of ibuprofen three times a day for the next five days to see if this makes any kind of significant difference.

I hope this answers your query.

i didnt mean to put gastro, haha, i meant to put heartburn.

also my shoulder hurts too on the same side, is that part of the inflammation? i havent had any injury, but do do a lot of lifting at times. i have had breast implants so i was hoping it is nothing to do with that.

thanks

Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The pain in your shoulder also seems to be related to the musculoskeletal inflammation. Avoid lifting weights till the pain subsides. The breast implants have nothing to do with the pain you are having.
Hope my answer is helpful.
