Thanks for your reply.
Let me clarify the situation. I met with a road accident on 24 January 2015, after that I was admitted in Medanta. That time, Dr did the ECHO test and suggested me to implant pacemaker. I want 2nd opinion to understand, if implantation of the pacemaker is actually required based on the attached report?
If yes, then why?
Also please confirm, what is abnormal in the attached report basis of which, Dr. has suggested for pacemaker?

Brief Answer:
This doesn't suggest the need for pacemaker at this point

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX , As I have said there is nothing in the Echo which suggests a need for pacemaker.

Pacemaker is a device which it to maintain the heart beats when it becomes too low or sometimes to give shock if it becomes too irregular.

There is nothing on Echo ( where it is mentioned the heart beats were normal) , which would suggest the need for pacemaker. Hence it must be something else they must have advised you or there is some misunderstanding on your part .

However based on the information, I don't think you require a pacemaker , however do send all other investigation as 2D- Doppler echocardiography is the test to determine the need of pacemaker.

It gives us an idea about mechanical function and status of the heart it's valves , while pacemaker is the treatment for electrical irregularities in the heart .

Brief Answer:
pacemaker implantation is justified to be on safer side

Detailed Answer:
Hello ,

As we had thought, it's not echo on the basis on which your doctor suggested need for pacemaker.
During the hospital stay The pulse of XXXXXXX fell on lower sides , sometimes to near zero. As he was in hospital they could revive him with resuscitation.
The reason for the same can be explained because of the neural damage because of the accident.
This is what I interpret from the doctors note , they are no objective ecg attached by you .
So in my view if su h episode has occurred , it's safer to get a pacemaker as it would be a back up , whenever such episode occurs again , particularly when the patient is wards or when you take him home .

Hoping I could help.
Let me know if any clarification is needed
