Question: taking ZANTAC DUO FAMOTIDINE-CAL CARB-MG HYDROXIDE. WILL IT INTERFERE WITH THE ABSORPTION OF ZOLPIDEM TARTRATE?

No, Zantac Duo does not interfere with the absorption of zolpidem.

*May I know why you ask?

However, Zolpidem absorption is affected by food. It reduces absorption and effectiveness by more than 20% when taken with or right after a meal.

For quicker absorption and efficacy, please take it on an empty stomach or an hour after meals.
