Brief Answer:
no interactions

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have done a drug interaction check on oral contraceptives, metformin and isoniazid and there is no problem in taking these three medications together. She does not need to stop anything to take the isoniazid.

Brief Answer:
PCOS

Detailed Answer:
There is not really a cure for PCOS. The contraceptives help to regulate the periods which can be very irregular and hard to deal with in PCOS. The metformin helps with the insulin resistance that is often see and also helps with weight loss. She may need to remain on them indefinitely. If she is overweight, losing weight and exercising for an hour a day can really be helpful to her if she wants to come off the medications. Even if she is not overweight, an hour of aerobic exercise daily, like walking, swimming or biking can be enormously helpful in patients with PCOS.
