Can One Conceive While On Ecotrin?

Question: Good Morning Madam,

My wife is in second trimester....She now in the 23rd week...We went for the check up few days back...the doctor spotted one problem..ie..,,the thickness of the placenta is around 29..the normal measurement is 22 (that's what the doctor told us)...So she prescribed Ecotrin 81 mg daily morning one tablet.

Our only concern is this aspirin tablet is safe to consume....to have during her pregnancy.
will this ecotrin cause any problem to the baby...However doctor did told...if she sight any bleeding than she told to stop the tablet...if no problem then she need to continue this tablet till 34th week...the tablet should be stop before 6 week of delivery.

So please clarify our concern...about this tablet...ecotrin 81 mg...
