Question: Hello I was wondering can Medical Marijuana be used to treat ADHD in the United States. I have taken Ritalin, Concerta and Adderall after being diagnosed when I was in 3rd grade. The medicines caused ticks n altered how I was. I noticed I can focus better while on weed then I could when I was on medical pills.

It has been mentioned in the few research that synthetic marijuana could be used to treat Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD),just like taking stimulants often calms those with hyperactivity, medical marijuana improves the ability to concentrate in some types of ADD. In XXXXXXX till date, it is not approved by FDA in treatment of ADD or ADHD. In that case, you have to consult your psychiatrist or physician.
