Brief Answer:
Not together with the other drugs. Can replace

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query,

I am afraid it might not be justified to add Breo to the other drugs you are taking. Breo is a steroid and the others (Singulair) for instance is also a steroid. It is true that Breo also contains a substance that dilates the lungs called bronchodilators.

Steroids have side effects that will be accentuated in case this drug is added. A proper reevaluation of your health status is required. In case you are not reacting or responding well to this treatment, changing the drug dosage might be needed. IN case the maximum dose of the drugs you are using have been attained, without any positive response, it might be justified to try another drug like Breo. Associating Breo with these drugs is not a good option. Reevaluating the efficacy of the drugs you are taking, and also the efficacy or response is very important.

I suggest you maintain your drugs, or increase the dose under your doctors supervision. Breo can be tried, but not used at the same time with the other drugs in case of inadequate response to drug or in case you experience serious side effects.

Kind regards,

Dr Bain
