before doing intera uterine insemination they enqure your last menstrual period and they do a trans vaginal ultrasound. after confirming ovulation they do the intra uterine insemination . so nothing to worry. if there is no underlying diseases like pcod it would be good foprocedure for getting prgnant hope this explains with regards

Brief Answer:
NOT TOO LATE. NOTHING TO WORRY.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

Following ovulation, ovum can survive 12 to 24 hrs usually (max 36 hrs) inside the fallopian tube. It can be confirmed through Trans Vaginal Ultrasound scan (done on Tuesday) on the basis of follicles changes.

It was NOT too late as the IUI procedure occurs on the next morning. Hopefully, you become pregnant.

Hope, it helps for your information. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.

Wish your good health and take care yourself.

Regards,
Dr S Patra

Thank you
How can they tell when the follicle dispersed?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Dr. Soumen Patra (4 hours later)
Brief Answer:
DETAILS ARE GIVEN BELOW.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for your query.

Trans Vaginal ultrasound scan can tell them whether follicle dispersed or not. It depends on periodic monitoring of growing ovarian follicles. Dominant follicle will release one ovum which will survive up to 24 hrs inside fallopian tube.

Hope, I have cleared your doubt. Kindly, close the discussion.

All the best and good luck.

Dr S Patra
