Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome. Bacterial vaginosis is not sexually transmitted disease and this can be seen only in women. This is actually overgrowth of bacterias which are normally present in vagina and metronidszile gel normalize it quickly. It will not be present in mouth after oral sex since it can't cause mouth infection so you don't need to worry for you and your partner. Wish you good health. Regards

Brief Answer:
possible

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
These cant be signs of bacterial vaginosis since this is localized infection in vagina and should not cause such symptoms. However, vaginal gel may cause increased uterus contractions and ovarian irritation due to hormonal changes so this is possible scenario. However, if pain persist, you should do ovarian ultrasoind and check estrogen levels. also, uroinfection should be ruled out.

Hi

Detailed Answer:
Yes, this may be caused by gel which is applied and may is of bacterial vaginosis but also may be present fungal infection as well. So if there wont be improvement, you should consider adding some antifungals.
