Can Losartan And Liothyronine Be Taken Together When Suffering From Diabetes?

Question: my doctor has recommended two drugs that seem to be contraindicated with diabetes and I hesitate to take them: losartan and liothyronine. I am reluctant to add these.

Unfortunately, there are no choices for thyroid medicine. So I suggest that the medicine should be continued as prescribed.

As for Losartan, I agree that the medicine is nor very nice in diabetic patients ,I think it is a good medicine for blood pressure and cardiac protection.
In case you still want to avoid it, I think I would suggest an equivalent dose of Ramipril or Amlodipine.
