Will Ramipril 2.5 For Diabetic Patient With Fluid In Lungs Cause Complications?
my dad who is a diabetic had fluid in his lungs and was admitted to a hospital in 2009.he recovered and was prescribed lasix 40,rabekind 20 and macsart 40 to be given at breakfast,ecosprin 75 at lunch,and amodep 5,zivast 5,and ramipril 2.5 during dinner.he is still on the same medications even now.will this cause any complications?

The above medication not cause fluid in the lungs. Ramipril is more useful in hear failure patients. Probably your father may be suffering from heart failure according to your medication. Continue the above medication. Heart failure is the one of the cause for fluid in the lungs. Other possibilities like kidney failure, lung infections etc. Get a echocardiogram and review with reports.
