Brief Answer:
Would advise against l tryptophan

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

l-tryptophan is used in depression in combination at lower doses with other anti depressants.

It can further fuel anxiety or a panic attack. Ativan would be a better option for now. So, I would not recommend l tryptophan.

The recommended step would be to consult a psychiatrist for a XXXXXXX mental state exam to look for anxiety and/or depression and advise behavioral cognitive therapy, psychotherapy and medication accordingly.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
