Brief Answer:
Usually diarrhea and vomiting common in acute food poisoning

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. Acute food poisoning usually causes diarrhea or vomiting with abdomen discomfort and fever in 3 days after having contaminated food.

2. However symptoms including loss of appetite, mild chills and bloating can occur in mild food related infection. It can also be there in conditions like any infection, viral fever and flu.

3. It is suggested that you get examined clinically and confirm your condition. If required your doctor might recommend clinical tests like blood investigations. Please take rest from work for two days and have home cooked food in less oil and which is not spicy. Treatment depends on clinical evaluation.

Hope your query is answered.
Please do write back if you have any doubts.
