Injury To Hip Flexor Group Muscles While Exercising, Difficulty Going Up The Stairs. History Of Hip Replacement. Advice
I had a hip replacement over 4 years ago. Right after the surgery everything was proceeding just fine. After about six months while I was exercising - I apparently and significantly injured my hip flexor group muscles which didn't allow me to raise my leg from a standing position more that a few inches. I still have great difficulty going up stairs or just putting pants on from a standing position. Any suggestions?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The injury to the flexor group of muscles is likely to cause a difficulty in climbing up the stairs. It is best to have adequate rest and get some muscle relaxants prescribed for relief. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
