Had Series Of Seizures In Single Day, Idiopathic Epilepsy. Cause?

I am 37 years old , a women , in may of 2011 i had a series of 5 seizures in one day .. I was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy ( adult on-set) my mri and cat scan were all normal at that time , I have had 3 or 4 eeg test all were normal except this last one that showed abnormal electrical activity in the right frontal lobe . How common is epilepsy diagnosis in someone my age with no lesions or scaring on the brain no family history of epilepsy and what could be the cause of this disorder?

Hi
Thanks for your query
As per your history you are diagnosed idiopathic epilepsy.
idiopathic epilepsy means we are getting not getting any positive finding on report.
your CT SCAN and other finding are normal except lost one eeg finding.
in my advice don't take unnecessary tension keep taking medicine.
but if you really interested in find the right diagnosis then you have few test that will help you:

-PET SCAN OF BRAIN WITH 18FDG UPTAKE
it will shows functional abnormalities in your brain.

if any query contact me

wish you good health
