why is the vaccine so expensive? i went to the pharmacy for the shot and i was astonished at the price, needless to say i left without the shot. Shingles needs to be prevented. This shingles vaccine should be available at a reasonable price. As seniors we should not have to worry about an illness that should have been irradicated by this time let alone not be able to afford to get vaccinated. Frustrated!
