Thank You, I Have Been On The Meds Called Tramadol

thank you, I have been on the meds called tramadol for several years now, I am taking 50 mg's 3 times a day, for back problems. Just recently, I started having dizzy spells, felt really weak & when I went to my family Dr. he found my blood pressure was only 73 over 59. we were all worried about that & he told me, to only take 1 50 mg of tramadol per day, that that specific drug can lower blood pressure. He wants me to gradually go off the meds & if that doesn't bring my blood pressure back up, then he will schedule some more testing. I am 70 years old & have been very active year around, except for this new problem. can you give me your advice on this medication?
