Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
ok this is excellent. Up until December 13 I had not seen my husband for ten months. He was able to come home from Dec 13 until January 7. Yay. My periods are always on time lasting about 4 or 5 days. My period was due around the 22 of Dec. The date of my last period was Nov 25. I missed my Dec period and on the 25 and 26th I was very ill. I thought it was stomach flu. As the month continued, I became fatigued like I couldnt walk up a flight of stairs without feeling it and my sense of smell became sharp dizziness and by Jan 5th I was starving all the time. I began to suspect I was pregnant and I feel pregnant. I took a hpt on the 8th of January and it was neg so I thought I might have ovulated later than the 13th 14th and so I waited until two days ago to take another one after missing my second period. Meanwhile My breasts are engorged huge and sore and tingly and darker nipples and veins and frequent urination. The food cravings have slowed down. I feel hungry but also extremely full like im going to explode when I eat. The second test was also negative. So I am very confused! and now cramping especially when I sit down in my lower back into my hips and legs and also sore in the ligaments? that attach from my upper thighs into my body some abdomen cramps too. I have white sticky discharge and it smells different but not foul and lots of sticky sweat in my groin too. I am sure at some point I was pregnant but am wondering why it didnt show up on test and what I should do? could I be pregnant still? I have had some nauesea too and food aversions. I am wondering how similar perimenopause is to pregnancy symptoms. I have felt like terrible pms like im going to start my period any second for over a month. What are your thoughts? Thank you so much
