my son has been ill since Tuesday, the 10th. he started off with a low grade temp on Tuesday and on wed, the woke up with a 102.5 fever. We took him to the doctors on Wed and they did a strep test in the office which came back negative. They also sent the test out but we have not heard anything additional about that. He had a 103.9 fever on Wed night and that was with childrens motrin in him. during that night his fever came down to 100.3. since then, he has been running a low grade temp between 99.7-100.7. he is complaining of a headache, sore throat, sometimes achy, head congestion and now a cough. They did not give him any antibotics with his visit.
