my mother is 93 and i'm her caretaker. She has CLLand arythmia. She went to her cardio dr monday and all was fine. They will see her in 6mo. This morning her left ankle is swolen and hot. She is tired and stayed in bed most of day, but she does have a good appetite. She had a five week therapy of her CLL , completed a month ago. At that time her numbers were good. The dr wants to check her blood every six weeks to see if all is ok, or if she will need more treatment. What do you think the cause of sudden swelling could be? She can barely walk.
