my husband has a hard knot like growth on the lower part of his rearend...basically about an inch above his thigh. When it first showed up it was about the size of a pea and now it is the size of a half dollar maybe slightly bigger. It isn't painful like it was to start with unless he aggravates it. You cant really see it unless he points it out but you can feel it without a problem. He has tried to puncture it with a needle and has literally mashed it until he has caused brusing. What could this be and how can he get rid of it. He hates going to the doctor and is extremely embarrassed by it.
