Just Recently My Boyfriend Has Been Experiencing Ichyness And Redness

just recently my boyfriend has been experiencing ichyness and redness on his penis, which occurred maybe a day after we had intercourse. I had been away for 5 weeks so at first we thought it was just a bit of irritation but when it didn't go away and the redness is still there we are both worried, but I am not feeling or seeing anything on my end. We have both been checked in the past but have only been with each other for the last 2 years. What could cause this?

Hello
Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that your boyfriend has developed Ballanitis .
Has he ever checked his blood sugar to rule out diabetes. If not done done so far ask him to get his blood sugar levels test done to rule out diabetes,as this is common made of presentation of diabetes.
In the mean while take broad spectrum antibiotics along with anti fungal medication for a week.
It should get cured with this treatment.
