Hello, pain just above the penis commonly occurs due to lower abdominal muscle pain. Avoid sleeping in the prone position. It can be due to groin pain, bursitis, hernia, lymphadenitis, penile tumor, sexually transmitted diseases. Get urinalysis (R/E and C/S) and STD tests done to detect sexually transmitted diseases or UTI. You will be treated accordingly with antibiotics and antivirals. Get clinically examined to detect any underlying health condition. Get it treated at the earliest. Warm compression is helpful. Taking analgesics or pain-relieving medicines will help to get rid of the pain and discomfort. Consult a general surgeon for evaluation, get ultrasound and other required tests, clinical examination done so that diagnosis can be made, and treatment can be started at the earliest. Take care.
